"Some folks hide, and some folks seek,
and seeking, when it's mindless, neurotic, desperate, or pusillanimous
can be a form of hiding. But there are folks who want to know
and aren't afraid to look and won't turn tail should they find
it . . ."

The DLC Questionnaire that follows is designed to be a helpful
guide to your personality type. You will gain more from it by first
visiting "Insight into: Personality
Typing". However, that isn't essential.
I recommend you take
the questionnaire two or three times. This is because the model attempts
to represent something that is in constant flux:your personality. Each
time, you should find that your responses, while maybe different in
terms of the actual four-letter code returned, are broadly similar when
it comes to which aspects are emphasized.
APT, the Association
for Psychological Type, reports that it is normal for any one individual's
responses to vary by up to 25 percent at different times.
Think of the result
not as a fixed defining quantity, but as a representation of the relative
strengths of various motivators upon you.
How to take the Questionnaire
There are only twenty questions so it's worth really pondering on the
answers, allowing your inner sense to come into play as well as your
immediate reaction.
In each case, you have to choose your preference, and its strength,
by selecting a point between two, not necessarily related, statements.
Click on the button that most closely represents you.
What the test is trying to gauge is the relative strength of internal
motivators, so expect to be challenged. Your preference can range from
marginal (in the center) to emphatic (at the ends).
If you omit an answer, the test will distort your result in an unpredictable
way.
When you've answered all the questions, click on the "Submit"
button.
If
nothing happens after you press the 'Submit' button, it means
the browser does not support the program. Sorry. It won't affect
your system but you will have to head for
"HOME".
